Bought my orange whip a while back convinced, thanks to all the hype, it would radically change/improve my golf….all this blurb about it being a good warmup tool doesn’t really do it for me….so you’re now on the 1st tee all warmed up having had a few practice swings with the whip….so what? you’ve now got yr driver ready to pound the ball into oblivion but hello….feels a bit, actually, quite a bit lighter than this ‘magic wand’ you were led to believe would totally transform yr game…end result sees yr opening drive end up goodness knows where & you suddenly hit with the realisation that, just like the hundreds of other so called golfing aids, the Orange Whip is not the answer to the golfing equivalent of the Holy Grail….believe me, it DOES NOT improve yr golf…I have yet to come across any owner of this device who, hand on heart, can say since using it their handicap has plummeted….

Would you say this would be good if i was hitting into a net in the backyard?

Excellent video! I'm getting back into golf after 7 years of competition shooting, so wanted to see what technology was out there to give me some good data points. I already use the Garmin Xero C1 for my shot chronograph so familiar with the brand. Looks like this is a great option for a low entry cost. Thanks again and keep up the good work...Sub'd.

I saw several senior tour players with one in their bags. Must help flexibility for mature golfers.

As a beginning golfer I love this drill. I actually use it on the course occasionally. What I’m struggling with is I hit it great with my feet together and then go to a normal stance and can’t make solid contact. Thoughts?

Great video! Just what I needed to complete my swing

The follow “The Easiest Swing” on RUclips. On one of their drills, they talk about the one thing most golfers and instructors never practice…the balanced finish. In the drill, they take the club from the address position to the balanced finish position, instead of the takeaway and then to the finish position like a normal swing.

Set up 7ft behind ball. Works like a charm. For the price it’s great. Awesome Golf delivers best numbers (cartoonish graphics) but accuracy on point.

Are you planning to do a video for Rapsodo mlm2 like this? Lots of testing went into this and it’s greatly appreciated.

Zach, am I hearing you correctly that you agree with Homer Kelley when he writes that a player MUST follow his Five Fundamental Alignment system (which incorporates the 10PAC system) in order to be good to great? And so, for example, Bryson (and any long ball driver), his swing can be analyzed accordingly?

Enjoyed watching this and your game looks good. With the Wedges and short irons your tempo is excellent, and once you can do the same with Driver and 3 wood your game will really take off. Your tempo and transition with the longer clubs was just a hair quick like you said, and once it matches up to your shirt iron tempo you will shave another 3-4 strokes off your game. Great job!

Hey Zach. Great to watch a whole round including all the times you find yourself in the rough and see the strokes you use to recover. Yesterday I had a round of pars and bogies with four 8's thrown in! I was pretty hot with some shots and then "BOOF", off it goes into the rough or the water, never to be seen again! The problem. MY problem is that I never know which shot is coming next. Something a Pro would be happy with, or something that costs 3 strokes. I shoot 108 and then next day 89. Worst ever and best ever in consecutive games. I do the verbal thing out loud, always have and as my scores suggest, sometimes it works but consistency? Nah. Not yet. I can only play 2 or 3 times a week so what do you suggest in terms of practice? Cheers from New Zealand ( The Golfer's Paradise).

Try with the RCT balls. Tests show it helps with accuracy.

A 12,000 dollar system is more accurate than a 600 dollar system? Say it ain't so!! For 12 grand I would sure as hell hope it's more accurate.

When you get it going, never stop. That is my key. Bypass the turn and definitely the bar.

10:12 doesnt the R10 need to be the same height as the mat? You might be getting different launch angels if not which would give you incorrect data.

Can the R10 connect to a Smart TV ? Maybe through the smart phone?

When I watch the pros on TV, I see this in their bags quite frequently. That should tell you something.

Really great video however if you said it wouldn't register draws and fades then it wasn't for you - (and not for me either). Yet you still recommend it?

To hell with besting 80. Shining at the local Fat-Shot Tourney matters more than chasing something that ain't gonna happen. Crispy shots with a proper stroke incur a penalty; moving the ball requires what comes natural -- hitting the ball fat, laying sod over the ball. It is difficult to embrace one's personal ineptitude but to win at shi^^y golf that's what is demanded.

Easy chip well Putt well that’s how you break 80 everybody has their own swing style and you don’t really have to change that. Just learn the short game.

Don’t buy a clone. I have friends who have way cheaper versions of this - they are just not the same - balance different - no counterweight - can’t change the grip - the shaft bends wrongly - why bother? This is an exercise I do every day at 77 years by old along with some dumbbells. Great way to not only stay fit but also maintain good swing mechanics. Get yourself a 1” rope one yard long to do the last part of swing training at home. Dumbbells, rope, and mid sized orange whip - it’s all I need to stay fit and play well.

I have this device. Pointing it in the direction on course is difficult. I think we saw that in your results. Great job though!
